Samples to view with a confocal system

If you would like to bring samples to a 3D Confocal workshop, please ensure that they are suitable for viewing on an inverted microscope. For details of the fluorochromes that can be viewed, please contact workshop@improvision.com and indicate which workshop you wish to attend.

Images to view in Volocity

If you wish to bring 3D and 4D images to view in Volocity, please use a CD or DVD. The following file formats are supported:

• Biorad "PIC" files
• Windows Bitmap files
• Library clipping files
• DeltaVision files (.d3d, .r3d, .dv3)
• ICS files
• JPEG files
• Openlab LIFF and RAW files
• PerkinElmer "AIC" files
• PICT files
• QuickTime-compatible files
  (Note Volocity cannot IMPORT QT movies, Volocity can only export QT movies)
• TIFF files
• LSM files
• Metamorph STK files
• Olympus OIF files
• Leica "lei" files
• Leica LIF files
