Improvision License Server. The Server Solution for Multi-user Access

The Openlab Automator is a unique visual programming language that is easy to use and simple to understand, yet provides almost unlimited power and versatility in the experiments that you can design.

The Automator allows you to create a schedule of tasks, called an automation, that can be run automatically. An automation links together hardware and application tasks to define the experimental protocol and direct a sequence of events in a logical order to produce the required results.

Automations can be saved for future use and are easy to adapt or change if required. However, standard automations for common imaging experiments are provided with the system.

There are two versions of the Automator; the Automator Lite and the Automator Pro.

The Automator Lite is included with every Openlab Core program. The Automator Pro Bundle is an optional module which confers greater power and flexibility to the system by the inclusion of Variables. This means that you are able to vary experimental parameters, such as the number of images acquired and the time between image capture, whilst an experiment is actually taking place.
